ROMAN CANDLES HOME MADE STYLE
Roman candles are often found at young people's parties where they can be easily constructed using a wine bottle or similar, and thrown into an open fire of bonfire for ignition, however, the risk of injury is very great and should not be attempted without adaquet knowledge of explosives.
The construction of these less stable type of candles requires filling 1/3 of a wine bottle with petroleum (gasoline), screwing the cap of the bottle lighly(so its just on) on and placing it into a fire. This is a very dangerous activity, and if one were to placed into fire the candle, the wisest choice would be to move away from the fire at least 10 feet (3m).
