On Frail Wings of Vanity and Wax is a full length album by the post-hardcore band Alesana. Originally put out in 2006 by Tragic Hero Records, it will be re-released in March 2007 on Fearless Records. It holds many analogies to Greek Mythology and the Medieval ages. The Title refers to Icarus, who the wax wings melted when tried to reach the sun.
