Opera Tower

The Opera Tower is a skyscraper in Miami, Florida. The building has reached its final height, although not officially open. Most of the construction has been completed, and the building is set to open sometime in 2007. Located in Midtown Miami, it is part of the current development boom in Miami. The building is 543 ft (166 m) tall, and contains 56 floors. Although ranked relatively low on the list of tallest buildings in Miami as a city, it is currently the tallest building in Midtown. When open, the building will contain 10,000 square feet (929 square meter) of restaurant and retail space, 635 residential apartment units, and be the tallest rental apartment building in Miami. Unlike many of the recently built towers in Miami, which are condominiums, the Opera Tower is a rental building. The building is located at 1756 North Bayshore Drive. Although not in the city center, the building is relatively close to downtown.
