Operation Fall Clouds
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Operation Fall Clouds is one out of many operations held by Israel against the Palestinians in Beit Hanun, north of the Gaza Strip. During this operation, the firepower of an Israeli tank targeted 19 Palestinians. 13 out of the 19 were members of the same family, and 9 were children.
Israel claims that it was a “technical mistake” and that "sad things happen in war". The operation was supposed to target Palestinian militants who launched Qassam rockets over Israel as retaliation on the continuous political, economical and military occupation inside the Gaza Strip.
The United Nations and the European Union are still studying the case.
Those who operated on "Fall Clouds" were the same who operated in the first Qana shelling in Lebanon in 1996.
