Is this a non-US spelling of endeavor? I was going to move the page but didn't want to till it was stated if it was or not. Searching on NATO website results "Active Endeavor". --zero faults ^{|sockpuppets|} 20:46, 12 June 2006 (UTC)

"While conduting counter-terrorist operations in the Mediterranean Sea, ships assigned to Operation Active Endeavor have also assisted the Greek government with the prevention of illegal immigration. On March 23, 2006 NATO forces alerted the Hellenic Coast Guard units of the M/V Crystal. The coast guard units intercepted the ship and arrested the captain and crew who were attempting to smuggle 126 illegal immigrants."[1]

[edit] Article lacks objectivity

The neutrality of this article is disputed.

I'm not going to get into a screaming match with the militarists here -- who clearly intend to keep rewriting history until something breaks. The article is not the worst imperialist crap out there -- but it implies much that is demonstrably not true. And so it lacks a NPOV.

Consider this notice of a NPOV challenge. But I wouldn't know who's going to be doing the work to remedy that. And don't think you'll be burying all challenges either.

Can you provide a specific example of slanted wording, and a better alternative that doesn't use weasel words or other problematic phrasings? The article seems merely descriptive to me, but I'm fully willing to concede otherwise if demonstrated. -Toptomcat 03:06, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

Endeavour is in English UK as behaviour....
