Oracle User Group

A Oracle User Group is a private, generally non-profit or not-for-profit organization that provides support and/or education for users of Oracle Corporation technology, particularly for professional users, however student user groups have also been established.[1]
The Oracle user groups often hold conferences[2][3], publish periodicals[4] and survey members to provide real data back to Oracle.[5]

International Oracle User Council IOUC is an international organization that represents the collective interests of the affiliated Oracle Global User Groups / Councils.
There are six representative Oracle Global User Groups:
- Independent Oracle User Group (IOUG)
- Oracle Applications User Group (OAUG)
- Oracle Development Tools User Group (ODTUG)
- Oracle Human Capital Management (OHCM)
- Quest International User Group
- Higher Education User Group (HEUG)
Along with 2 representative Oracle User Group Councils:
- Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Oracle User-Group Council (EOUC)
- Asia Pacific Oracle User Group (APOUC)
which in turn aggregate a number of in region country based groups.
