Oriental Beat is the second studio album by the Finnish glam punk band Hanoi Rocks, recorded in London England and released in 1982. The artwork features the band covered in paint behind a glass panel with blue and red paint-pressed hand marks on it. The original artwork was originally supposed to feature guitar Andy McCoy's girlfriend's naked breasts painted blue and red with the legend "Hanoi Roxx" written across it, however it was changed due to Castle Records view that some record shops may refuse to stock it due to graphic nature and their worry that potential customers may get confused by the alternate spelling of the band's name. Although Gyp Casino played drums on the album and can famously be heard missing a beat during the song Motorvatin' due to his increasing heroin addict at the time after recording the rest of the band advised he leave London and return home to Finland as his life was in danger. For this reason replacement Razzle appears on the front cover of the album despite not contributing it.
