Talk:Orlík (band)

[edit] Regarding Categories
I question Orlík's placement in the "Neo-Nazi music" category. There is a pretty big difference between racism and Nazism, and based on my limited knowledge of the group I would place them in the former. "Limited" being the key word there, I'm not going to edit the page, but I thought I'd raise the question. I've never seen an English translation of their lyrics nor do I speak a word of Czech, so I'm rather curious to know if they make any pro-Nazi statements or are just racist of their own accord.
- I, too, think that calling Orlík to be a Neo-Nazi group is too much. They were obviously nationalists, but they were also opposed to (namely German) nacism/fascism (see e.g. the Faschos song). In the time Orlík existed, the punk/skinhead movements were, in fact, quite united (see Oi!), so I think calling them Neo-Nazis would be wrong. (I believe the categorization of Daniel Landa as a Neo-Nazi is wrong, too. In fact, I think the Neo-Nazi category is a POV by its name.) --Mormegil 14:55, 14 December 2005 (UTC)
