Oskar Krejčí

Oskar Krejčí (born 13 Jul 1948 in Prague) is Czech political scientist. He is head of the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy at the Faculty of Political Sciences and International Relations at Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia, a researcher in the Institute of Political Sciences of the Slovak Academy of Sciences in Bratislava, and an editor of Czech weekly Ekonom. He is the author of sixteen books and more than eight hundred articles in the area of political science. Before and during the Velvet Revolution he was an adviser to two prime ministers of Czechoslovakia – Ladislav Adamec and Marián Čalfa.
