Ourimbah is a town on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia. Originally known as Blue Gum Flat. It lies roughly 80 km north of the Sydney CBD, lying both on the Sydney-Newcastle CityRail line (station) and the "F3" Sydney-Newcastle Freeway.
Ourimbah consists of a small township, mainly along the Pacific Highway. The township facilites include a local public school and a small selection of shops and businesses. Businesses present in the Ourimbah area include a real estate agent, [[Fish and Chips|fish & chips] takeaway, chemist, newsagency, fruit shop, video store, butcher, bakery, Chinese takeaway. Also present in the area are 4 Service stations, 2 dentist surgeries, tavern and bottle shop. A campus of the University of Newcastle is also located in Ourimbah.
The University campus is usually referred to as the Ourimbah Campus of the University of Newcastle, although the campus is co-located with the TAFE Hunter Institute and the Central Coast Community College. There are also several specialised research facilities and businesses on site, many of which are located in the Business Incubator facility.
Ourimbah is a rapidly-developing residential area, with major upgrades to the main road occurring as of 2007.
Ourimbah is close to several public high schools, with many high school students from the township attending Lisarow, Narara Valley High School or Terrigal High School. The township is also within close proximity to the public selective school Gosford High School. Numerous private schools are within commuting distance from the township of Ourimbah.

- The flat at Ourimbah was colonized by the blue gums for which it was known for some time.
- There are many sites around Ourimbah which provide evidence of Aboriginal occupation. These include axe grinding grooves, archaeological deposits of campfires and food scraps.
- Ourimbah achieved notoriety in January 1970 as the venue for an Australian rock festival modelled on Woodstock.
- The railway was opened on 15 August 1887. The only stations between Gosford and Wyong at this time were Narara and Ourimbah.
