Oxwich

Oxwich (grid reference SS498864) is a village in the principal area of Swansea, south Wales. It is situated to the far south of the Gower Peninsula. Attractions in the village include the Oxwich Burrows marsh, the Tudor Oxwich Castle, Penrice Castle and local sandy beaches including Oxwich Bay.
In February 2007 Oxwich was voted the 'hands down' winner of the 'Best Beach in Britain' and one of the Top 12 in the world by The Travel Magazine.
