The Paštrovići is a coastal clan in Montenegro.

The people and land of Paštrovići is mentioned for the first time in 1355, when Serbian emperor Dušan Silni sent his nobleman Nikolica Paštrović in diplomatic mission in Dubrovnik.
Since that time, Paštrovići were regularily mentioned in documents of archives in Kotor, Dubrovnik, Zadar and Venice.
In 1423, the elected representatives of Paštrović community signed the treaty with Republic of Venice and became a part of Venetian state. In that treaty, Paštrovići were garantied the autonomy, and free trade within the borders of Venetian state, withouth paying the customs or any other taxes. In return, Paštrovići agreed that they will join the Venetian army, for fighing in the nearby counties of Skadar and Kotor.
Paštrovići were the part of Republic of Venice until the fall of Venice in 1797.
