Pac-Jr. is a bonus game included in the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis version of Pac-Man 2. It is unlocked by collecting 3 cartridge pieces and going to the video arcade in Pac-City. You play as Pac-Jr, the son of Pac-Man, running around a maze eating dots and avoiding ghosts. The rules are basically the same as the original Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man games, eating all of the dots in the maze takes you to the next level, if you get caught by a ghost, you lose one life, the game is over when all lives are gone. Pac-Jr. has to chomp his way through 4 different mazes, as in Ms. Pac-Man, with a new intermission between each of them. Like Ms. Pac-Man, Pac-Jr. has fruit that bounce around the maze instead of the stationary fruit in Pac-Man. Jr.'s fruit take the form of toys such as skateboards, basket balls and other similar things. This was an official Namco Pac-Man game unlike Midway's unauthorized sequel Jr. Pac-Man.
