Paillaco is a commune and city in southern Chile administered by the Municipality of Paillaco. It is located in Valdivia Province in Los Ríos Region, about 25km southeast of Valdivia. When Los Ríos Region was created it was meant that Paillaco would be in Ranco Province, but Paillacos inhabitants
