PALS

Peers Assisting Learning Support (PALS) is a non-profit organization that fosters relationships between students with and without developmental disabilities through one-on-one and group activities. PALS works to allow all students to experience the benefits of friendship, dedication, and responsibility.

PALS was founded in 2003 in Allentown, Pennsylvania by Jason Toff & Josh Stein. The organization started as a club at Parkland High School, and later expanded to other high schools and into a growing non-profit organization.

PALS operates out of high schools across the Northeast United States. PALS also operates a summer camp for students with Down syndrome called Camp PALS in Radnor, Pennsylvania at Cabrini College. Julian Krinsky of Julian Krinsky Camps and Programs sponsors the summer camp.
Camp PALS is a scholarship 1-week summer camp for teenagers with Down syndrom between 14-21 years old.

The PALs of Hightower High School are great and talented individuals. They consist of juniors and seniors with talent, compassion and individualism. They are awesome! =)
