Talk:Pangasinan
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I do not understand the connection of the topic under the Spread of Islam to Pangasinan, before or after Spanish colonization. Before the Spanish civilization, the people from Pangasinan had its own set of beliefs independent from Islam.
It seems appropriate to remove that section.

- They definitely had their own set of beliefs, independent from Islam, before the arrival of the Spaniards. Still, the question remains as to whether or not the Pangasinan were Islamized or at least in the process of being converted to Islam at the time the Spaniards arrived.
[edit] Coastal Pangasinan
I read in Pangasinan language#Distribution that Pangasinan is spoken in the central parts of the province. I’d like to know, though, which language or languages are primarily spoken on the coastline, the beaches. Thanks. —Lagalag 15:53, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
