Part time
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Part time refers to the amount of time and effort spent by someone in employment (or another activity, such as volunteering) compared to a normal full-time job. A part-time job usually pays less than a full-time job, and has fewer working hours per week. Usually workers are afforded no benefits (such as health insurance) other than their wages on part-time jobs.
It also refers to students (usually of further education or higher education) who spend a few hours studying or in lectures, especially those who spend a minority of the hours in a normal 40-hour week studying.
