| Description |
Made this image to help improve the understanding of the concept of streaklines and pathlines. The two streaklines are at different instances of time. However all the pathlines and the streakline in darker shade are at the same instance. The order in which the particles lie on the streakline cannot change from one time instance to another. As such the particle shown in brown color will always be followed by particle in blue, green and red color. This order will stay the same on the streakline for any instance of time. |
