Paul Cătălin Tincu (born February 26, 1986 in Iaşi, Romania) is a Romanian football player, currently playing for Politehnica Iaşi as a midfielder.

Starting football at the Noua Generaţie youth centre, he and teammate Clement Pălimaru were picked up during the 2004-2005 season Politehnica Iaşi, being considered the most promising players from the centre at that time. Since then he won a place in the starting eleven, playing 37 matches and scoring one goal.
Tincu is also an U-21 international. He has played in four matches and has scored once, against Northern Ireland (score 2-0).
