Pebre
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Pebre is a Chilean made of cilantro, chopped onion, chopped tomato, garlic and often ground chili peppers.
Pebre is most commonly spooned on meat, usually from a barbecue. It is also used on bread, in lieu of butter. One recent development is to condiment a choripan with it.
It is very similar to some varieties of the Mexican Pico de Gallo.
In far northern Chile it is used to name a sauce more like bolivian llajwa.
