I use this for all blatant vandalism, and ALWAYS warn the user afterwards. I hope that this makes it easier for admins to identify and block persistent and obvious vandalism. I'm not too inclined to give many second chances to blatant vandals.

People like this and his subsequent ID's, do make me laugh.
Replacing pages with "I am Gay" et. al. is, without doubt, one of the cleverest and witty things you can do. It adds value, and entertains the community at large. Not only that, but it gives RC patrollers something to do, which can only be good.

The Serious Bit
Wikipedia has come, or is coming to, a turning point. Decisions have to be made about what defines an encyclopedia. Administrators (or the glorified sysops) within this project have often forgotten what an administrator is. Almost every nomination is greeted with "I humbly accept the nomination" or similar. What? You are grateful for nomination to work as an administrator? An administrator has to perform boring and repetitive tasks. Not here, apparently. Here, an administrator is a cut above the rest. This attitude is wrong in every single respect. Administrators should stop, pause and realise that "editor" beats "administrator" in every hierarchy conceiveable. And ANYONE can be an editor.
Speedy deletion is often a major bone of contention. But the problem is view point. I couldn't care less about some player for an Australian soccer team and frankly think them less notable than the lampost outside my house. Fans of the team would view it the other way. A decision needs to be made. Are we going for an encyclopedia galactica in which every single thing in the cosmos is noted, or are we going to reserve information to only facts that a small body believe to be notable - from their point of view ? Either option on the face seems unacceptable or problematical. But there is no solution at this time. Unless this community works towards one this project will become stilted and dated.
Brief Summary

Everything else needs a discussion. Maybe a short one or a long one but discussion. Full Stop.
Don't like it ? Fine - Wikipedia is not a democracy.
