When the road is running in Toronto, Ontario, it is referred to as Steeles Avenue.
Peel Regional Road 15 or locally known as Steeles Avenue, named after J.C. Steele, is an urban thoroughfare originated from Toronto, Ontario and continues into Halton Region, Ontario.

Peel Regional Road 15 is one of the few east-west routes continuous from the Toronto/York Region to Peel Region (the others are Eglinton Avenue, Dundas Street, Highway 7, and Bovaird Drive/Castlemore Road/York Regional Road 73).
