PEG13
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
PEG13 is a mechanical investing strategy that utilizes, in part, stock data and proprietary rankings from the Value Line Investment Survey. PEG13 is identical to PEG26 save that it uses Total Return figures for the past thirteen weeks instead of Total Return figures for the past twenty-six weeks.
To identify stocks satisfying the PEG13 criteria, select those stocks having a positive P/E ratio and a Value Line timeliness ranking of one or two. From these stocks, select the twenty-five stocks having the highest Total Return over the past thirteen weeks. Sort the twenty-five stocks by their Projected EPS Growth Rate and retain the ten stocks with the highest rates. Then, order these retained stocks by their PEG ratio from lowest to highest and purchase the desired number of stocks.
