Penfield 1 railway station, Adelaide

Penfield 1 railway station is a former railway station on the defunct Penfield railway line which is located in the northern Adelaide sudurb of Edinburgh It is located 23.2km by railway from the Adelaide Railway Station. The station opened between 1940 and 1942 and had a platform which was 213.4 metres long. The station closed in January 4, 1991, along with Penfield 2 and the line.[1] The station has been torn down and built over, like most of the old railway stations.
