[edit] Lower Penns Neck Township?
Not sure, but I'm looking at the United States Census records of 1790-1920 (missing 1800, 1810, 1830, and 1840, though), and I see a township called "Lower Penns Neck". Would this be Pennsville's original name, just like Carneys Point was "Upper Penns Neck"? I mean, it works out geographically (Carneys Point's "above" (north of) Pennsville), so I assume that's right, but I want to know 100% for certain before I put the census numbers in. Anyone know?
