Talk:People's Political Power of Canada

Couldn't this party be considered Christian Democratic? Their social conservativism and their economic policies almost seem to me to be sort of a radical version of Christian democracy. 24.32.220.158 20:37, 11 November 2006 (UTC) James
- This statement is pretty POV but...they seem like a Christian version on the Natural Law Party (i.e. fluffy-bunny). They have some rather, ahem, unusual ideas: like enforcing a seventh-day holiday, and shutting down businesses who disobey. Or, like putting all convicted criminals in the Army (like we need Paul Bernardo running around with a C7 and combat training). I think they are definitely a fringe party. </POV> I don't know what the litmus test is for Christian Democrats on this side of the pond, but they don't appear (at my first perusal) to be related to what I've read about the European variety. --SigPig |SEND - OVER 04:44, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
