Perbromate

A perbromate is a compound that contains this group.
The perbromate ion is an oxidising agent and the reduction potential for the BrO4−/Br− couple is +0.69 V at pH 14.
One method of producing perbromate is by the oxidation of bromate with xenon difluoride.
