Peshawar International Airport (IATA: PEW, ICAO: OPPS) is an airport located in the city of Peshawar in the North West Frontier Province of Pakistan. Located about a 25 minute drive from the center of Peshawar, it is the 4th busiest airport in Pakistan.

- On October 23, 1986, a Pakistan International Airlines Fokker F-27 Friendship Mk 600 aircraft crashed during approach to Peshawar International Airport for landing. Fortunately 41 people survived the crash but 13 others, including 4 crew members, died in this accident. The aircraft registration was AP-AUX.
- On 1st May, 1960, a U.S. Lockheed U-2 Spyplane, piloted by Gary Powers, left Peshawar Airport intending to fly over the Soviet Union. His plane was shot down and he was captured and put on trial in the USSR. This triggered the U-2 Crisis of 1960.
