Peter Cherrie (born 1 October 1983 in Bellshill) is a Scottish football goalkeeper currently playing for Scottish First Division club Clyde. Cherrie previously played for Airdrie United and Ayr United.
Cherrie's game for Clyde saw him come up against Ruud Van Nistelrooy and Wayne Rooney during Clyde's glamour friendly with Manchester United in July 2005. Cherrie made his competitive debut for Clyde against Peterhead in the Scottish League Cup in August 2005.
Cherrie also played in the Bully Wee's Scottish Cup giant killing over Celtic. Cherrie, at the moment, is Clyde's second choice 'keeper
