Pettigrew State Park

Pettigrew State Park is a state park of the U.S. state of North Carolina. Located in Tyrrell County near Creswell, North Carolina, it covers 1,200 acres (4.9 kmĀ²) around Lake Phelps, the second largest natural lake in North Carolina. The park is located in North Carolina's Coastal Plain.
It is named after the Confederate general J. Johnston Pettigrew.
