A tag has been placed on Vazquez Arce y Ceballos, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. If you plan to add more material to the article, I advise you to do so immediately. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources which verify their content. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material, please affix the template {{hangon}}
to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Jesse Viviano 07:16, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] What to do about encyclopedia articles if you cannot start immediately with a decent stub
If you cannot immediately start an article with a decent stub, the best thing to do is to create the article in your user space. This is done by creating a subpage of your user page space at "User:Pgehr/NAME_OF_ARTICLE
". In the user space, articles that cannot stand on their own as encyclopedia articles are not vulnerable to being deleted as having not enough context. However, some of the speedy deletion criteria still apply, like if someone creates an attack page in the user space or if it violates someone's copyright. Then, after it is fleshed out enough that it can survive on its own on the main space, move it to "NAME_OF_ARTICLE
" using the move tab on the top of the page you are working on. This method can also be used to create subpages for your own personal use, like a personal sandbox if you wish to experiment around with wiki syntax. Jesse Viviano 20:32, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
