Founded in 1971, Pickle Barrel is a chain of 9 Canadian restaurants located in the Greater Toronto Area.

[edit] Atmosphere
During the early 2000s Pickle Barrel changed its image, with wood paneling, though restaurants made before this still sport signature photos, each location having different themes. Though still being seen as Family Restaurant, since the updated look the restaurant has a more romantic atmosphere.

The menu has a wide variety streching from salad to deli sandwich to pasta and back to Salads. It is a difficult task to not find something to eat on their menu. They also have catering and most if not all have Banquet Halls.

The Pickle Barrel has 9 locations including one called "Pickel Barrel Grand" which is in the Yorkdale Shopping Centre, another "Pickel Barrel Grand" can be found at the intersection of Queen and Bay Streets. Most Pickle Barrels are located in malls though a few are not. For example; The Pickle Barrel Deli located at 5941 Leslie Street in North York one that is currently under renovations.
