PiercingMetal.com is a Heavy Metal and Hard Rock reviews website based in New York, NY USA. Created by Ken Pierce, a freelance music journalist, the web site covers all aspects of the genre. It focuses on Black Metal, Death Metal, Folk Metal, Gothic Metal, Progressive Metal, and Traditional Metal and Hard Rock.

Together with a small creative staff of writers, designers and photographers, the site's aim is to inform and satisfy the hungriest of Metal music appetites. The site features reviews of CD's, DVD's, concerts and books that relate to all of these aspects of Heavy Metal music. There are interviews with artists and links to reliable news feeds and there is also a significant amount of concert photography to accompany those reviews. The reader can find thousands of images of the world's most popular bands. A search engine built into the main page can locate and present a vast number of specified criteria based on the reader's preferences.

The site is also home to a very popular Area Events Calendar. Primarily dedicated to the New York area, the calendar is filled with concert events and also lists key releases of importance. New content is added to the site on an almost daily basis.
