Pierre Lapointe
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Pierre Lapointe is a Canadian singer born on May 23, 1981 in Lac-Saint-Jean, Quebec. He has won many prizes since his debut, including six Félix in 2005 and at least one in 2006. He is well known for his obscure, esoteric lyrics, which tend to be melancholy. Another distinctive characteristic of his lyrics is their literary style. [1]. Lapointe has created the persona of an egotistical dandy on stage, but he does this mostly to deflect attention from himself. [2] [3]
