The Pine Bluff Metropolitan Statistical Area, as defined by the United States Census Bureau, is a three-county region in southeast Arkansas, anchored by the city of Pine Bluff. The Pine Bluff MSA population in 2000 was 107,341 people. Constituent counties of the MSA include:
Other major cities in the area include White Hall; Rison; and Star City.The Pine Bluff area is also a component of the Little Rock- North Little Rock-Pine Bluff Combined Statistical Area which had a population of 785,024 in the 2000 census. The area had a population of 829,032 in the 2006 Census estimates.
