I'm taking a short wikibreak due to school and will be back on Wikipedia sometime down the road. Most likely, however, I won't be able to keep away from Wikipedia for that long, and I'll probably be back a lot earlier while making some small edits every so often. Messages left for me may not be replied to for a while.

I'm a girl from who grew up in Avon, Indiana (lived there for the first 19 years of my life). After graduating high school, I started attending the University of Evansville in Evansville, Indiana, but I ended up transferring to the nearby University of Southern Indiana where I am working towards receiving a degree in business administration. I'm currently engaged to be married once I graduate and have been with my fiancé for around six years. I also have a pet chinchilla named Chi-Chi who is cute and fuzzy.

[edit] My thoughts on Wikipedia

I love the idea of a free encyclopedia that anyone can edit. Even if professors and teachers will not allow Wikipedia to be used as a reference, there are plenty of articles here that have plenty of citations which can be used as references, which makes finding valid informatin an easier process than it used to be. The only thing I would really like to see change is that a policy be implemented that required users to register with the site before being allowed to edit. The only reason I would like to see this is it would cut down on vandalism and give editors a name, instead of just another number, which makes remembering specific editors a lot easier.

[edit] Things I really need to work on for my own sanity

• Civility - For the most part, I am pretty civil here on Wikipedia, however, there are occasional times when something or someone ticks me off and I snap at them instead of remaining calm. I also need to realize the difference between being witty and being just plain mean. This is my biggest goal as a change for myself on this site. I eventually want all of my conversations (at least my side of it) to remain calm and collected.
• Assume good faith - I will admit, I have a tendency to assume any anonymous editor is automatically a bad editor until they've proven themselves through various edits. I've got to stop doing that. Sometimes people are genuinely bad editors, but other times they're just new and don't entirely know what they're doing yet and need help, which I could help provide if I would just realize that more often.
