Piston Shot

Piston Shot is a term used in pornography. It refers to the filming of closeup of genitals during sexual intercourse to record actual penetration. In 1980s, in many movies "pretended" to have sex while their, although naked, genitals were obscured because of their position. Actual sex scenes were recorded with different actors with closeup of their genitals while hiding their faces and rest of the bodies. Both kinds of scenes were later mixed with editing.
