Pittsburg, British Columbia was a planned development in the British Columbia province of Canada. The settlement was extensively planned out and ready for development when apparently land swindlers got the better of it. Pittsburg is still mostly existent on paper and planning boards only. It was named after the industrial heritage of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
