[edit] Pittco Logo
The Pittco logo has changed twice the organization's inception. Originally, Pittco used an image of the city of Pittsburgh. The image was later changed in March 2005 to the current logo, which was meant to represent the "Three Rivers" for which Pittsburgh is known. It is also similar to the logo of the Pittsburgh Steelers professional American football team.
[edit] Event details
The name of Pittco's event is "Iron Storm." The name comes from Pittsburgh's notability as a former steel mill center[citation needed]. At its events, Pittco holds tournaments for games including Counter-Strike: Source, Unreal Tournament 2004, Battlefield 2, Quake 3, Quake 4, Half-Life 2: Deathmatch, and Warcraft III. Attendees often organize unofficial tournaments for games like DOOM 3, Call of Duty 2, and Nexuiz. When a high-bandwidth broadband Internet connection is available, attendees may play World of Warcraft.
There are many side events, called "jackass events" by many attendees.
