The Platte Purchase Bridge is a truss bridge over the Missouri River that handles northboud U.S. Route 69 from Kansas City, Kansas to Platte County, Missouri.
Its sister bridge the Fairfax Bridge handles southbound traffic. It is part of the Seventh Street Trafficway between Fairfax, Kansas and Riverside, Missouri. It is named for the Platte Purchase.
It was built in 1957 and previously was a toll bridge. Its biggest span is 465.96 feet and it is 2552.19 feet long and has a deck width of 28.31 feet and vertical clearance of 15.02 feet.
