Talk:Plotline of Death Note

[edit] Importance
I fail to see why this article is flagged for importance. Perhaps it may be debatable that it could be merged with the main Death Note article, but numerous other manga franchises have detailed sections on plot summary, and they are a valuable resource. Could someone be so kind as to explain the justification for the opposing view? 65.105.113.194 16:18, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
I agree... and I do believe it should be re-merged with Death Note... Why is it marked for importance? For me it was a valuable resource in analyzing the plotline.--Skolympus 07:40, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
I don't understand why Wikipedia needs an article describing the entire series. There should be a brief yet descriptive summary of the plot, but it shouldn't go into little details like this article does. If someone wants to know this much information on the story, they can just read the manga.--Hirohiigo 20:36, 2 December 2006
- The problem is that not everyone has either access or the time or want to read all of the manga in order to get the information, so something like this article is actually very useful in describing what happens. I feel it should be kept out of the main article because of the detail that it goes into.--(十八|talk) 03:31, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
