Podscope is a search engine that will crawl the web to look for podcasts. When it finds one, it will create an index against every word within the content. Users will be able to search for a term or phrase and the program will generate a list of ranked results, providing the most relevant podcasts as well as links to play or download the content. Podscope is the brainchild of a company called TVEyes. TVEyes have been indexing both radio and television broadcasts since 1999.
