Polvijärvi

Polvijärvi is a municipality of Finland.
It is located in the province of Eastern Finland and is part of the North Karelia region. The municipality has a population of 5,154 (2003) and covers an area of 958.04 km² of which 156.68 km² is water. The population density is 6.4 inhabitants per km².
The municipality is unilingually Finnish.
