Talk:Politics of Hungary

This data is not maintenable. Updates should possibly come from the CIA world factbook, after it's released. I just updated some data but I don't have the resources to update everything (parties, dates, etc). Sorry. --grin 14:31 23 May 2003 (UTC)

[edit] maintainance
I have marked clearly outdated information by "strikeout".
- Thanks, but this was not very helpful. I can strike out outdated informations as well. Please if you find outdated informations update them. Thanks! --grin 00:03, 3 Sep 2003 (UTC)
I just finished wikifying the massive list of international organizations, using AcronymFinder. Most of the links point to de-acronymized titles, but some do not. This is because AcronymFinder gave multiple plausible decipherments. Please have a care with these, to avoid linking to organizations that Hungary isn't actually a member of. --Smack 04:20, 9 Apr 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Encyclopedia-like wording
"New Year's Day (Resting day, because people get drunk during the New Year's Eve celebrations)" - are you guys sure it is an appropriate wording for an encyclopedia?

[edit] Cleanup
This article needs a cleanup, imho. Wouter Lievens 22:45, 29 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- I agree. It needs to be broken up by headings, for one thing. Maybe put all information on the individual branches of government into their own subsections? And delete some information that isn't really about politics, like the flag description. SingingDragon 05:23, 24 May 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Some corrections
I have corrected some basic facts about our form of government, national holidays and national history. The "Judicial branch" part is fundamentally wrong. The Constitutional Court is not considered part of it as it makes no judgements on indidvidual cases, the system of Courts is not mentioned. I believe that this article needs plenty of corrections, both factually and in style. --81.182.55.37 19:08, 23 September 2005 (UTC)
- And many more. We don't have election pages, page for the constitution, c.court etc. Anyone having time has to do something :) --Sicboy 22:08, 27 September 2005 (UTC)
