Pomeranian (Western) Balts

Pomeranian (Western) Balts lived in teritory between Jutland peninsula in the west and Vistula river in the east. They were partly pushed, partly assimilated, partly surrounded by the Germanic tribes adwanced to the east in 1500 BC - 1 century AD. When Germanic tribes leaved this territory in 1 - 5 centuries AD, some Pomeranian Balts' tribes stayed there. After arriving of Slavic tribes in 6 century AD they mixed with them and from this mixture appeared Kashubians and other Pomeranian groups.
