Pong project
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A Pong Project is any work project where the worker lacks direction and authorization.
In a Pong Project the worker may bounce from supervisor to supervisor seeking information on how the project scope, deliverables, stakeholders, or design, only to have no one be willing to step up to the plate and take responsibility.
Pong Projects may occur when management is unwilling to be responsible for making decisions, when management does not know the answers themselves, or when business communication is poor.
Pong Project refers to the classic arcade game of PONG, in which a ball bounces between two paddles. In a Pong Project the worker is the bouncing ball.
