Portrait in Black (1960) was a lavish, entertaining, thriller released by Universal International. Produced by Ross Hunter, who also produced Airport (1970) and other big-budget films for Universal, the film starred Lana Turner and Anthony Quinn. The film was noteworthy for its extensive location filming in and around San Francisco, including a spectacular sequence at Devil's Slide on the Cabrillo Highway (State Route 1). It also was the final film in which veteran actress Anna May Wong appeared.[1]
