Portuguese is an adjective referring to matters related to Portugal. It is also a noun that refers to the Portuguese language or the Portuguese people:
- Portuguese language, a Romance language spoken primarily in Portugal (Including Madeira and Acores), Brazil, Guinea Bissau, São Tomé e Príncipe, Angola, Cape Verde, Mozambique, East Timor, Goa (India), Damao & Diu (India), and Macau (China).
- Portuguese people, generally defined as citizens or natives of Portugal.
