Prickly Pear Land Trust

Prickly Pear Land Trust is a 501 nonprofit organization from Lewis and Clark County, Jefferson County and Broadwater Counties of Montana. The association of over 700 members aims to protect open space in their area of Southwestern Montana. The "PPLT" was founded in 1996. Projects have included work in Mount Helena City Park and The South Hills.

"Protect the natural diversity and rural character of the Prickly Pear Valley and adjoining lands through voluntary and cooperative means. The Land Trust is dedicated to perpetuating the recreational, wildlife, scenic, agricultural and historic values of the land."[1]
