Primera D is made up of 18 teams from Buenos Aires. The winners of Primera D gain automatic promotion to Primera C Metropolitana, the 5 highest finishers behind the champions go into a playoff series, the winner of which will face the 2nd worst team from Primera C in a promotion/relegation playoff.
